Supplying and Recycling Pallets

Pallet Grades

The Grocery Manufacturers Association (GMA) pallets are the U.S. standard pallet. Let's take a look at the pallet grading system.

Grade #1

Sometimes called Grade A, these pallets have minimal blemishes. They have not had any major repairs and are perfect for any product that will be seen on the "floor" for public display. These pallets are also good for food and beverage logistics or storage. They usually are contaminate free and structurally sound.

Grade #2

Sometimes called Grade B, these pallets may have spliced stringers, weathering, and other cosmetic issues. They have more extensive repairs. #2's are a great, cost effective, pallet. They are just as strong as a #1 in many cases.

Scrap pallets

These pallets aren't good for shipping and storage. These pallets are what we recycle. These pallets are probably laying around your facility and taking up space. We can haul these away for you!
